ALICE ATERMAN - @al11z
Alice Aterman (Al11z) is a self-taught 3D artist who uses animation to inject fantasy into otherwise mundane objects and sceneries. Her fascination for 3D stems from the notion that one can create virtually anything imaginable in this medium; the laws of physics and time don’t apply. It allows her the potential to create works that are absurd, beautifully surreal, terrifying, or all of them simultaneously. She began her 3D journey in 2022, experimenting with the 3D software Blender purely out of boredom. It quickly became a medium of artistic expression, and as her adeptness for the software grew, she progressively developed more complex works. Now, Alice is a full-time 3D artist and continues to dream up new creations that push her (and her computer’s) limits!
PROJECT: Papineau ATM
This is how Al11z thinks ATMs work. This scene was textured with original photos taken from rue Papineau to add some much-needed grit and vandalism to the animation.
All works are created in Blender (2022-2023).
